We’ve simplified how SSL works on free subdomains to improve security and performance.
SSL by Default:
All free subdomains now come with SSL automatically enabled. No need to install or renew certificates.
Custom SSL Disabled:
Custom SSL certificates are no longer supported on free subdomains; our system-wide certificate provides full coverage.
"www" Subdomains Not Covered:
Only root subdomains like example.dep.com.np are covered. Subdomains like www.example.dep.com.np are excluded due to SSL limitations.
Self-Signed SSL for Custom Domains:
Custom domains without SSL will now get a self-signed certificate automatically, which is ideal for setups like Cloudflare Full SSL.
These changes make SSL easier and help us keep the platform fast and secure.
